Born in 1940, David Bumbeck received his B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and a M.F.A. from Syracuse University.  Bumbeck employs techniques of intaglio printmaking such as etching, aquatint, engraving and photo-transfer. The human figure has been the dominant motif in his prints for over 25 years.
